Your Face Shape and Recommended Frame

Oval: Forehead is wider than the chin with prominent cheekbones. Recommended Frame: Most frame styles, particularly oval, scientific, triangular.Stay away from extremes, large or small.

Rounded: Face is almost as wide as it is long with cheeks being the widest.Recommended Frame: Oval and square frames to sharpen the features and create definition.Stay away from large round frames.

Square: Forehead, cheekbones and jawline are all about the same width with a squared jawline. Recommended Frame: Rounded, cat-eyed or oval styles to make the face look longer.

Rectangular: Long and narrow with a squarish chin.
Go for round, triangular frames to emphasize width. Keep away from small square frames.

Triangular: Wider forehead narrowing gradually to a slightly rounded chin.Recommended Frame: Aviator, large oval frames to add width to the chin and cheek area.

Diamond: Smaller forehead, with wider temple area that gradually decreases to the chin.
Rounded or geometric frames to minimize the width of the temple area.
